The Story Behind What We Do
We’re a London-based team that specialises in fully hosted gaming events for kids’ birthdays, teen celebrations and larger group occasions. Instead of simply dropping off equipment, we set everything up properly, stay to run the games and make sure the whole experience flows smoothly from start to finish. Most of our work is with families across North, South, East and West London, as well as parts of the South East, creating organised, high-energy celebrations in homes, gardens and hired venues. We’ve done this enough times to know what works, what keeps kids engaged and how to make the day enjoyable for everyone, including the parents.
Humble Beginnings
How It All Started
The idea didn’t begin with a business plan it started at a friend’s house. We were invited over for a birthday gathering, and they asked if I could bring my Xbox along so the kids had something to play. What was meant to be a small distraction quickly became the centre of the party. The kids organised their own matches, others gathered around watching, and suddenly the living room had turned into the most popular spot in the house. It wasn’t just that they were playing it was how engaged they were.
On the drive home the next day, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The setup had been basic, just one console and a few controllers, yet it completely changed the atmosphere of the party. I realised most celebrations were either chaotic free-for-alls or relied on entertainers who didn’t really understand gaming culture. There was a gap for something more structured a proper gaming setup, run in a way that kept things organised, fair and exciting.
That’s when the planning began. Instead of simply renting out consoles, the focus became creating a full experience: multiple systems, proper screens, enough controllers for group play, and most importantly, someone there to manage it all. The goal was simple, take what worked so well that night and build a professional, reliable service around it. What started as bringing an Xbox to a friend’s party turned into the foundation for a business built on real, first-hand experience.
